Richard Holland provides AWS and software architecture and development services, with 25+ years experience in cloud architecture and DevOps, data aggregation, warehousing, ETL pipelines, REST and GraphQL APIs, toolkit libraries, and dashboards. Much of his work is in scientific and R&D settings using Python but he has experience with a wide range of languages and toolkits including React, Java, Perl, and C. Validated environments for clinical diagnostics and EMR integrations are a speciality.
Richard works with businesses large and small on projects that require an extra pair of hands where a full-time hire cannot be justified, or where an independent opinion or specialist advice is required to move through roadblocks. He can assist with DevOps setup, requirements gathering, architecture of cloud infrastructure for security and scalability, software design and prototyping, and assessment, documentation and refactoring of R&D projects for production use.
